OK so first thanks so much for djay 3.1 which partially solves my BPM issues by at least allowing to multiply/divide the BPM by 2.
Still, I'd like part or even all of the following (yes I'm greedy and hard to satisfy) :
- shortcut to change to halve/double the BPM value
- more importantly, a way to halve/double the BPM value for multiple files (most of djay's estimates are good for me if divided by 2 or 4 and processing them one by one is NOT an option with several thousand tracks)
- possibility to multiply/divide the BPM by 3 (or even better: any number for stranger cases)... because most of the time djay gets wrong BPM values for 3-beats based tracks and/or metrics like 3/4 or 6/8. Being able to multiply/divide by a given factor would not alter the precision of the BPM which would still be a full-fledged float or double
- if possible, possibility to set BPM values below 21 (I am definitely NOT asking for such boundaries within the bpm calculation algorithm, just the possibility to halve them to values down to 15. [I ask that because for most dances the reference speed values are in measures of four beats per minute (i.e. BPM/4) so it actually goes down to 15 for very slow tracks -and theoretically lower but that's hardly relevant. And yes I could multiply everything by 4 but it's way inconvenient]
- possibility to save a tapped tempo
Oh and on a side note, if ever you can increase the quality of the time-stretch that would be totally awesome (yes I know it's a nightmare problem but I also know some open algorithms are better than djay's one for that so I believe there is still room for improvement at a decent development cost.)
Thanks in advance and thanks again for all the hard work!

Thanks for the suggestions!
Tapped BPM values are automatically saved in djay 3.1.
Also, did you try increasing the quality of djay’s time-stretching algorithm under djay > Preferences > Advanced?

Hadn't notice tapped values were saved, that's awesome !
Oh and so stupid of me, I didn't check after updating that the timestretch quality was still at maximum, indeed much better now ! (Well I will still be hoping for always even better ^^ but at least I timestretch without insane artifacts now)
This being said, I would still very very very much like a way to multiply/divide BPM values for multiple files ! But thanks for the clever remarks, you really made my day !

Along the lines of BPM manipulation, is there an option (after a beatmatch has been made) for the beats to stay matched if one of the tempo sliders is adjusted? If not, please consider this a suggestion for future updates. LOVING the new version BTW.
